Monica is not only the founder of Serenity Oak Massage, but the creative mind behind the therapy plans and clinical approach catered to each client’s unique needs. Monica began her journey studying with Lauterstein-Conway, and continued her study at the Austin Intitute of Massage and Spa Therapies in Round Rock, TX, graduating with a comprehensive understanding of massage therapies including: swedish, trigger point, prenatal, deep massage, and hot and cold stone modalities. Monica has recently completed the Advanced Program at Lauterstein-Conway receiving certifications in Orthopedic Assessment and Massage and Deep Massage the Lauterstein Method, along with a deeper knowledge of shiatsu and other modalities. She has also become certified in Kate Jordan’s Bodywork for the childbearing years and offers prenatal, labor support, and postpartum massage. Monica gives each client an individual assessment and builds a custom approach to therapy tailored to each client’s individual needs.
